Welcome 2008!

I know it's a bit late for me to say that hahaha... already the 6th of Jan but it's okay huh? 2008 has just begin :) I dunno whether all of you guys also think like me but I feel that 2007 finished really quickly! Suddenly it's over and 2008 already come.

New Year Resolutions? The new year brings more energy and excitement for me. I always feel that New Year is the time for me to do things better. It's like another new start where I can do things better. I believe many people feel like that as well altho not all of them. So, here are a few things that I think I want to do for 2008:
  1. Working hard for my new job (easy to say, very hard to do)
  2. Do more creative things (I love scrapbooking, card making, photo editing, etc.) I hope I will have the time and willingness to do more of them.
  3. Do social works (I plan to visit Transit House (a house which caters for those who sick and poor) and talk to their patients more often)
  4. Do more sports (this means a little bit of walk for me hahahaha) I hate hate sport besides tennis.
  5. Spend more time with my parents (again, 24 hours a day is not enough for me --> who creates this rule?)

Okay... I think 5 should be enough... I hope I can do all of them considering I have the whole year to do it.

Well 2008 is gonna be such a busy year. Those my close friends will know exactly why hehehe... compared to 2007 where I spent most of my time waking up at 11am and then went back to sleep for my afternoon nap at about 5pm hahaha... talking about lazy. That was beyond lazy. I think I can be compared to pigs.

I'm working now for my fiancee's parents as a marketing manager. This is exciting but also scary. Thinking about it, I'm still really young, only 24 this year (on Feb), have got some experience but not that much and they trust me to be their marketing manager! Mm... but rather than thinking negatively and feel scared, I choose to be confident and believe in myself. I think as long as I do my best and continue upgrading myself (sigh.. study again hahahaha) then I hope things will be alrite.

There is the wedding preparation as well which hasn't start that much since we still got one year to plan it. Also, there is the renovation of the house which means that me and my family have to move out and stay in an apartment for a year. Thinking about planning, meetings and packing up already gives me the headache. But thinking about the exciting life after that also gives me the energy. Well I do hope 2008 will be a better year for me and my family considering 2006 and 2007 was pretty crappy. But that's life. You don't always stay on the top =p
